Hashtag Rules

  • 1.Use 10-15 hashtags per post. More isn't better.
  • 2.Rotate between Set A, B, and C. Never repeat the same set back-to-back.
  • 3.Mix tiers: 5-7 niche (low competition), 3-5 mid-range, 2-3 broad.
  • 4.Put hashtags in the caption, not a comment. Instagram changed the algorithm.
  • 5.If a hashtag consistently shows 0 reach in Insights, swap it out.
